Sometimes I feel like this is the only way to keep my plants alive… draw them.

Sometimes I feel like this is the only way to keep my plants alive… draw them.

you’re feeling sleepy…

Found a few pigeon feathers on my jog yesterday. They are surprisingly very strong along the stem for being so light and, well, feathery. Also, they are simply stunning even coming from such a humble bird. I would exercise a lot more if I knew I could find feathers along the way. Promise. I would have a collection for a set of wings.

Did you know that Einstein’s brain was stolen at the time of his autopsy? Then it was split up between neuroscientists to study; chunks sometimes arriving in mayo jars? Crazy interesting! Especially the part about the genius section of his brain having large amounts of glial cells, which communicates across the brain, when only neurons were thought to do that. Once again proving that communication is key to any great mind/relationship.

To my parents who have built the American dream together… Happy 34th!

like birds but more like bats

A long time ago, my four-year-old-self laid hands on a juicy, black, permanent marker and went to town on the wall behind our living room couch. My hidden masterpiece. No one knew about it until the painter came and tried to white it out, but it kept showing through all the fresh coats of paint. He asked me if I did it, but I pretended not to understand and I surprisingly came away unscathed.
If I could responsibly get away with using black, permanent marker on the walls again, I would try this.
